· The first film was Ingmar Bergman's "Through a
Glass Darkly".
· As of September 17, 2001, 1405 shows have aired incorporating
1,450 movies.
· SNAM is the longest-still-running series in Canadian
television history apart from the news.
· Every movie has aired uncut and uninterrupted.
· 2001/02 is its 28th season.
· SNAM continues to be TVO's most popular adult series.
· Elwy Yost hosted 1974-1999; Shelagh Rogers 1999-2000;
2000 - present, a hostless, documentary
format.
· 1080 interviews in the SNAM Archive.
· As one television critic once wrote, "SNAM's passion
has been our pleasure and thanks to this
series, Ontario probably has the most movie literate
population in the world."
